Forage & Feast: Cooking with Wild Foods. Saturday 28th April. 12pm - 6pm

The event will begin with a wild edible plant walk in a local Leeds park &
woodland where you will be introduced to a range of prime, in season spring herbs, vegetables and hopefully some fungi.

We will look at and discuss safe identification techniques; including the sensory aspects and the important role they play in foraging and we will discuss mindful and ethical harvesting.

We will collectively gather a variety of wild edibles before heading back to a local cafe where we
will collectively create a range of dishes before sitting down to eat. The dishes we create will showcase wild food cooking at it's tastiest & simplest although we will get a little bit fancy pants.
I will also bring in a range of pickles, preserves & drinks to accompany.
